Our story
Creation of The Sushi School
Creation of Sushi School by Emmanuel Letellier in London. It was a school dedicated to training Japanese catering professionals.
Next, commissioned by Autec to make sushi at a trade show, he became aware of the importance of sushi machines in the world of Japanese gastronomy.
Indeed, these allow for the more efficient production of sushi with the same quality as if they had been made entirely by a sushi chef.
Creation of the Sushi Robots brand
Emmanuel Letellier decides to return to his home region: La Rochelle. The Sushi Shop chain quickly approached them, and one of the proposed areas for improvement was the implementation of machines. This is how the company The Sushi School created the brand Sushi Robots with the aim of selling machines for Japanese cuisine throughout Europe.
The adventure begins with three: Emmanuel Letellier as director, Alice Touchais as marketing director, and Dylan Kane as technician.
Acquisition by the Baelen group
Emmanuel Letellier wishes to sell the company to pursue a new venture. The Sushi School is being acquired by the Baelen Group.
This takeover allowed for the establishment in new premises the same month, to expand and structure itself.
This affiliation with the group has also allowed Sushi Robots to be monitored and advised on its various major projects. Alice Touchais and Kiyoko Hay take the lead.
Officialisation of Sushi Robots
The Sushi School officially becomes Sushi Robots. Beyond a simple brand, we are becoming a recognised and specialised company in automation and robotisation for the catering and agri-food markets.
